Rita Gould, 76, of Leominster Mass., passed away on Monday, September 4, 2000 at the Health Alliance Hospital, Leominster, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Memramcook Est, she was the daughter of the late Joseph LeBlanc and Evangéline Cormier. She worked at R&M Manufacturing Co. for 15 years. Rita was a foster mother.

She is survived by four daughters, Emilia (Léo) Dupuis of Leominster, Mass., Lorette (Gérald) McDonald of Leominster, Mass., Jeannine (Peter) Robichaud of Leominster, Mass. and Pauline (Blair) Cormier of Waltham, Mass.; one son, Raymond (Rose-Marie) Gould of Leominster, Mass.; three sisters, Clara (Antoine) Bourgeois of Memramcook Est, Bertha (Jos) Richard of Sackville and Marie (Emile LeBlanc of Memramcook; two stepsisters, Thérèse (Oscar) Richard of Memramcook Est and Lila Gautreau of Moncton; three step-brothers, Walter (Yvonne) LeBlanc of Memramcook, Donald (Carmen) LeBlanc of St. Joseph and Eugene LeBlanc of Mernramcook Est.; 13 grandchIldren; 16 great grand-children; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Emile F. Gould In 1979; one son, Danny Gould in 1993; and two brothers, Yvon and Leonard.

Funeral service will be held at St. Cecilia's Church, Leominster, Mass. on Thursday, September 7, 2000 at 10am. Interment in St. Cecilia's Cemetary. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook.
